Sailors steered by Polaris for a reason: while every other star wheels across the night, it holds still. The Polaris Huggie is built on the same idea — a single round brilliant lab-grown diamond set straight into the front of a solid 10k yellow gold huggie, so the sparkle sits exactly where you put it and stays there. No drop, no swing — just a fixed point of light.

The band is a substantial 2mm, which lets the stone sit down inside the gold with four low prongs at the corners rather than perched on top: flush enough that nothing catches on a sweater or a scarf, bright enough to catch everything else. At 8mm inside it hugs the lobe closely, and the hinge and snap post click shut and stay shut.

The diamond is about 2.5mm — ~0.05 ct a single, 0.11ctw if you buy two — D–F color, VS clarity: a steady glint rather than a flash, the kind of piece you put in and never take off.
