✓ Perfect Fit

Tip: Place your ring flat on the screen directly on top of the circle. Look straight down — the green circle should disappear behind your ring's inner edge. If you're between two sizes, go with the larger one for comfort.

📏 Note: For most accurate results, we recommend our printable ring sizer PDF. This digital tool provides a good estimate, but printed measurements are more precise.

String & Paper Method

A simple at-home method using materials you already have. Follow these illustrated steps.

What You'll Need

String or paper strip

0 1 2

Ruler (mm)

Pen or marker

💡 Don't have string? Get creative! A phone charging cable, a thin strip of paper, dental floss, or even a twist tie will work — anything flexible that you can wrap around your finger and mark.

1

Wrap Around Your Finger

Take a thin strip of paper or string and wrap it snugly around the base of the finger where you'll wear the ring. It should be tight enough to stay in place but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.

2

Mark the Overlap

Where the paper/string meets to form a complete circle, mark both edges with a pen. These two marks show your exact finger circumference.

Measure in Millimeters

Lay the paper/string flat and measure the distance between your marks in millimeters. This is the inner circumference of your ring size.

Pro Tips for Accurate Sizing

PM EVENING

Measure at End of Day

Fingers are typically larger in the evening due to natural swelling. Measure after 4pm for the most accurate size.

Temperature Matters

Cold fingers can be up to half a size smaller. Warm up your hands first — run them under warm water for a minute.

Account for Knuckles

Your ring needs to slide over your knuckle. If your knuckle is noticeably larger than the base, size up half a size.

2mm 6mm+ SIZE UP

Ring Width Affects Fit

Wider bands (6mm+) feel tighter on the finger. Consider going up half a size for our chunkier ring styles.

2× = sure

Measure Twice

Take your measurement at least twice on different days. Finger size fluctuates — two consistent readings give you the most reliable result.

Frequently Asked Questions

The screen calibration tool provides a good estimate when calibrated correctly with a credit card. However, for the most precise measurement, we recommend using our printable ring sizer PDF or visiting a jeweler. Screen variations and user calibration accuracy can affect results.
If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for comfort. Consider the ring width too—wider bands feel tighter, so you may want to go up half a size. For stackable rings or bands under 4mm, your true size usually works best.
Yes! Each finger can be a different size, and even your left and right hands may differ. Always measure the specific finger where you plan to wear the ring. Your dominant hand is often slightly larger.
No worries! We offer free exchanges within 30 days of delivery. Just visit our returns portal to start an exchange, and we'll send you a prepaid return label. Your ring must be unworn, with tags, and in its original packaging. Once we receive it, simply order the correct size. Easy!
Most Zayla rings can be resized up or down 1-2 sizes by a professional jeweler. However, rings with gemstones all around (eternity bands) or certain designs may not be resizable. Contact us about your specific ring style for guidance.
Finger size fluctuates due to temperature, time of day, diet (salt/water retention), physical activity, and even weather. This is completely normal. Your ring should fit comfortably in most conditions—snug enough not to fall off, but loose enough to remove.
