Lucida Huggie
Every constellation has one star your eye finds first.
Astronomers call it the lucida — the brightest star in the group, the one the others are mapped around. The Lucida Huggie is that for your ear: a slim solid 10k yellow gold huggie with a single round brilliant lab-grown diamond hanging just below the hoop, free to swing when you turn your head.
The stone rides on a small link rather than sitting on the hoop, so it moves when you do and catches light from angles a stud never sees. Four slim prongs, no bezel — the gold holds the diamond and then gets out of the way. Pick your point of light: Petite (3mm, 0.125 ct) for a glint, Classic (4mm, 0.25 ct) for a flash you'll keep catching in the mirror.
The hoop is 9mm inside and 1.5mm thick, hinged, and snaps shut to stay put; the diamond is E–F color, VS clarity. Sold individually, so build what you want — one in a second hole, a pair for symmetry, or a Petite next to a Classic and let the ear decide. Everything else in the stack orbits it.
